I have found over the years that flee markets at American focused car shows are a surprisingly good place to find foreign trinkets. The seller often doesn't know why they are in their collection, and don't know what to to with them. As a result, they let things like this go for cheap.

This is a decent tool kit. I believe it's from a ~1991 Loyale. It includes (from front to back): a 12mm and 14mm open-ended wrench, adjustable pliers, a screw driver (the shaft is reversible, switching from Philips to regular), a 8mm and 10mm open-ended wrench, and a spark-plug socket. I believe it's missing the lug nut wrench, but for $2, I'm not complaining.

The bag itself is nice, and should clean up well. It has a "leather" texture to the vinyl, and still shows the old Fuji Heavy Industries logo. Other than that, it's your typical Subaru tool bag. For comparison, the pink and grey bag is what came with the 2009 Forester. They really haven't changed much over the years (18+). Even the snap closure is the same.

Sweet find! A nice addition for a restoration to help build it's value. Plus there's just something satisfying and comforting about reuniting tool kits and manuals with cars.

Oh they are lovely. I try to do as much as possible using just those tools but alas, sometimes you need a second screwdriver. 85 Leone Brat.

I have a Suzuki Every. There was a near identical kit in the storage compartment under the right passenger seat. The only difference is that mine says 'Suzuki'.
